We have backed numerous successful technology startups which are targeting enterprise and SME customers across various industries/sectors e.g Adtech (Adjust, Adex), Enterprise Software (LeanIX, Userlane, Staffbase), FinTech (NDGIT) and many others.

Our goal is to be the first institutional investor, trusted partner and companion of top entrepreneurs. We support our portfolio companies with our company-building backgrounds and our network which includes strong corporate investors (including Cisco). We invest in markets and industries characterized by high growth and technological innovation and believe that disruption is driven by digital transformation.

Cisco is one of our fund investors with whom we work closely together on a global scale. Cisco has already acquired over 200 tech companies while also being an active investor.

Cisco Investments and Capnamic are hosting an evening for Tech Founders

To enable networking amongst likeminded founders and to discuss key learnings and experiences with successful entrepreneurs (check our special guests below); we are hosting an Tech Founders evening in Berlin, on June 5 (the day before NOAH Berlin).

Special Guests

Reading about building, funding, growing and selling a tech company is great! However, we strongly believe personal exchange — in Real Life!

Due to that we are constantly leveraging our network to connect young companies with experienced, successful entrepreneurs. This time you can talk to founders who have:

  • raised several rounds of Venture Capital
  • got Venture Capital from and worked with Olaf ;-)
  • Cisco as an investor
  • grown their startups successfully sold their startups to Cisco

Josef Brunner (LinkedIN profile) has founded, grown and exited several companies. Olaf has seed funded JouleX Inc. in 2009 and Josef and Olaf have worked together until JouleX was successfully sold to Cisco in 2013 (check Josef talking about the exit at ECO13 in London).

Currently, Josef heads relayr (which is backed by Cisco) as its CEO.

Jörg Bienert (LinkedIN profile) has founded Parstream and led the company as the CTO until Cisco bought Parstream in 2013. Now, he is co-founder and CEO of aiso-lab.
