As you may already know from Part I of this series, creating a 3D View of a product is not the only thing you can do with the 3DShot app. Using 3D product reviews for social commerce is also fair game.
Maria is a small business owner who sells handmade leather bags. Each item can be made to order and the client can choose a custom handle length, add a crossbody strap, select a brass snap closure, or add matching accessories.
With the 3DShot app, Maria can create a 3D image of any bag and share a link with an influencer to get a 3D review.
“Technology right now is the best way for me to get the word out.” — Maria
Once Maria sends a link to the 3D image of the bag, Anabelle, a blogger with an active audience hungry for handmade accessories, can record a 3D review of the product and share it with her followers on social media.
This 3D review can also be used to sell the bag on eBay, Amazon, or any other marketplace or website that allows you to post videos.
“Hey guys! So, today, I’m showing you a “Minerva” bag. I love the name. It’s actually derived from the Roman goddess of arts, crafts, and wisdom, which I think is awesome.” — Anabelle
Today, influencer marketing offers a great way to increase sales. Shoppers use Instagram and Youtube to get more information about a product. Naturally, almost every social media platform offers a social commerce option.
“All of the IT and e-commerce giants have taken steps towards establishing their own livestream platforms: Google Shoploop, Amazon Live, and others,” says Kosta Popov, CEO of Cappasity. “Consequently, the 3DShot app could become a headliner for virtual product reviews, simplifying influencer marketing for brands and bloggers alike.”
