We’re happy to announce that we’ve released a significant update of the Cappasity platform. Now you can launch your immersive showroom on the platform for free. Let’s explore what an immersive showroom is, how it will benefit your company, and how to create one on the Cappasity platform.

Immersive showrooms, virtual museums, and their benefits

Our updated solution allows businesses to easily create immersive showrooms with Cappasity. These showrooms actively engage customers with interactive product experiences through various formats such as 3D Views, 360 photos, 3D/AR models, and AR Holograms. Alongside exploring products, users can instantly make purchases by following links to the companies’ websites. So immersive showrooms will bring new customers to brands’ websites.

Immersive showrooms are beneficial not only for businesses but also for museums. Cappasity helps create a new generation of virtual museums where every exhibit is fully interactive. Visitors can interact with exhibits, change angles of perception, and closely examine even the tiniest details. Incorporating immersive content, museums can make their digitized collections more appealing, especially to younger generations who prefer interactive technologies. This type of content can also be used in digital libraries, with museums attracting new visitors from Cappasity’s users.

How to create an immersive showroom on the Cappasity platform

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial:

Step 1. Create an account at https://cappasity.com/. Your username should be the same as your brand’s name.

Step 2. Open the email that you’ve received and activate your account.

Step 3. Open your account on the platform and click on the round icon to upload your profile picture.

Step 4. Upload a cover.

Step 5. Go to the “Account” section, in the upper right corner.

Describe your brand in the “Bio” field. Click “Save”.

Step 6. Go to the “Company” section and add information about your company for public display. The more appealing this information is, the more potential buyers are bound to show interest in your company.

Step 7. Create your content with Easy 3D Scan. Remember that shooting different items requires different lighting and settings. Here you can learn more about the 3D shooting and post-production process: https://cappasity.com/3d-product-imaging/

*While we recommend that you create content in the studio, there’s also the option of using the 3DShot app to create immersive content with just a smartphone.

Once you’ve edited your content in the software, click “Upload”. Enter the name of the item and click “Upload” again.

Step 8. To add the description of the item, go to your account on the Cappasity platform, select the 3D View, and click “Edit 3D View”.

Write the description and click “Save”.

Step 9. Attention! To add a 3D View to your immersive showroom click on the green “Add to Showroom” button below the brand name in your account. Select the 3D View, and click “Add.”

Please note that the 3D View will not be displayed publicly in your showroom unless you take this action.

Customers can also reach you directly through the contact form. They simply need to click “About” us and fill in the form.
