Cappasity is a finalist for the Fashion Innovation Award 2021

We are delighted to announce that Cappasity is a finalist for the Loomish’s Fashion Innovation Award 2021 in the Virtual Fashion category. As a finalist, Cappasity will pitch in front of the key stakeholders of the global fashion tech industry on November, 23 2021.

The Fashion Innovation Award 2021 is organized by Loomish, the Swiss-based investment management firm, and Bally, Swiss luxury fashion and shoe brand. The program aims to find mature B2B and B2B2C tech start-ups and scale-ups that can support Bally in their goal to become more virtual and to provide a more augmented customer experience. The scouting activity is made possible by its sponsors Bally, Accenture, LTCC, Loomish, Microsoft and UBS.

The awards are given in 2 categories:

  1. Virtual Fashion: B2B and B2B2C solutions that help brands reinforce their virtual fashion assets through 3D fashion design, augmented reality, avatars, NFTs for Virtual Fashion, Virtual fashion marketplaces and Virtual apparel (including footwear and accessories).
  2. Augmented Customer Experience: B2B and B2B2C solutions that help increase the augmented experience of customers: phygital and/or interactive store windows, virtual try-on, virtual stores, improved e-commerce experience and in-store customer journey virtualization.

This year the selection was very tough. The prestigious jury assessed more than 100 worldwide applications and chose Cappasity as one of six finalists to pitch in the Virtual Fashion category. The finalists of the Fashion Innovation Award 2021 — six in each of the two categories — are:

As a finalist, we will have a unique opportunity to pitch directly to the top management at Bally, as well as other executives from Accenture, Lifestyle-Tech Competence Center, Loomish, Microsoft, UBS Bank, Switzerland Innovation Park Ticino, and more. The pitch day will be held as a hybrid online-offline in Switzerland (at Bally’s headquarters) on November 23. The Cappasity team will join the event and demonstrate our turnkey solutions for the 3D visualization of items for fashion and retail. Moreover, Cappasity will showcase AR shopping technologies that allow customers to place products in a real-life environment as AR holograms. We will also describe our upcoming project for the creation of immersive NFTs and speak about the opportunities of the immersive metaverse for e-commerce.
