Cappasity listed as a finalist for the LuxForward Award 2021

The LuxForward Award is a competition promoting top-notch solutions to help luxury brands achieve their sustainability goals, focusing on Circular Design and New Ownership Models. Cappasity is proud to announce that our company has been listed among the finalists of the LuxForward Award 2021 in the area of Circular Design — 3D design & Augmented Reality.

LuxForward is a premium program that takes the energy of the luxury industry and aims at enabling innovation exchange. It is tailored to enable luxury brands to discover key innovations that could support their business goals. This year, almost 100 applications were submitted and the selection process was very tough. All applications were assessed by a prestigious jury that included some of the most important individuals leading the Luxury Industry today.

The awards are given in two categories:

  1. Circular Design: B2B and B2B2C solutions that help brands design apparel and accessories in a way to last, to be reused, recycled, upcycled (e.g., 3D enablers, smart tracking systems, upcycling/recycling solutions, blockchain use).
  2. New Ownership Models: B2B and B2B2C solutions that help increase the number of times a garment or product is used (e.g., secondhand, subscription models, virtual fashion, rental, repair solutions).

Twelve finalists were selected to pitch for the LuxForward Award 2021 in front of leading executives from Bally, Breitling, Cucinelli, Design Holding, Dufry, Hugo Boss, MSC Cruises, Richemont, The How Consulting, Timex, Tod’s, Valentino, Versace, Zegna, among others. The finalists will be invited to pitch in front of the jury during a “phygital” event in Milan on October 7, 2021.

Cappasity will join the event and demonstrate our turnkey solutions for the 3D visualization of goods for fashion and retail. Moreover, Cappasity will demonstrate AR shopping technologies that allow customers to place products in a real-life environment as AR holograms. We will showcase how Cappasity’s immersive technologies can improve conversions, increase customer engagement, bridge the gap between online and offline shopping, and provide consumers with an outstanding online shopping experience.
