SHOES 53045, the direct-to-consumer brand from footwear legend David Tourniaire (longtime creative associate of Martin Margiela, go-to shoe designer for Paris’s top luxury houses, co-designer of the Balenciaga’s Triple S in collaboration with Demna Gvasalia), is now an official partner of Cappasity. The label adored by fashion media (Hypebeast, The Business of Fashion, Vogue) and influencers alike (Gigi Hadid, Noah Schnapp, Lizzo, Rita Ora) now uses the Cappasity solution for immersive shopping experiences to display its statement designs in a fully interactive 3D format.

Or go to the SHOES 53045 product page.

Customers eager to purchase the trend-setting sneakers get to interact with the items almost like in a real store: rotate, examine from any angle and zoom-in to check out the details. The brand-defining sole — one layer perforated, the other a transparent air bubble — looks exceptional in 3D. Interactive content can be incorporated into websites, and mobile apps, as well as shared on social media.

Co-founded by Paris footwear legend David Tourniaire (whose 25 years of iconic designs for major fashion houses include the Balenciaga Triple S, which he co-designed with Demna Gvasalia), SHOES 53045 aims to turn the world of footwear on its head (the numbers 53045 spell SHOES upside down), while remaining inclusive and fun for everyone. “You don’t have to suffer to be cool,” promises the brand, and clients believe it.

“We are thrilled to have the Cappasity platform used for SHOES 53045,” says Kosta Popov. “By bringing together the immersive solutions created at Cappasity and the disruptive designs of SHOES 53045, we hope to deliver a great experience to clients.”

About SHOES 53045

What would happen if the crème de la crème of Paris shoe design and the disruption culture of Silicon Valley had a love child? SHOES 53045 — sneaker-shoe hybrids with bubble air soles and a dose of fun. (The numbers 53045 spell SHOES upside down — and that’s exactly what the brand is doing for the footwear scene).

SHOES 53045 comes from the future (with a detour through the ’90s). They’re inspired by music and culture, vintage footwear, and all sorts of oddball objects. They’re so comfy, they feel like walking on floaty boats or dancing on the moon!

SHOES 53045 is a direct-to-consumer brand, designed in Paris, based in LA, and handcrafted in China, in the most advanced athletic shoe factories in the world — which they are proud of! Each pair is leather-free, unisex and precision-engineered for the wearer’s comfort and pleasure, including two sets of insoles to customize the fit.

Chief Creative Officer and co-founder David Tourniaire is a footwear legend, a longtime creative associate of Martin Margiela, the groundbreaking designer of ’90s sneaker brand Nobox, and the creator of the iconic Balenciaga Triple S sneaker in collaboration with Demma Gvasalia — the shoe that sparked the recent renaissance in designer athletic and athleisure footwear.
