According to the 9th edition of Salesforce’s State of Marketing report, marketers consider content one of the most important items within marketing budgets. Analyzing responses from CMOs and VPs of marketing among nearly 5,000 global marketers, Salesforce discovered that B2B marketers allocate 17% of their budgets to content, while B2C marketers allocate an even larger share at 19%. Following content expenditure, both B2B and B2C marketers prioritize investment in tools and technology, with B2B marketers dedicating 16% and B2C respondents allotting 17% of their budgets to this category.
