Tutorial: Change the folder for 3D View files and store them on an external drive

Having storage options is important. Instead of storing your 3D View files on the system disk (the default folder), you might want to use external drives for added flexibility. They are portable and can be moved to another computer if needed. It’s also a good idea to have backups. As your collection of 3D Views grows and your disk space diminishes, just transfer the files to a larger external drive.
