Adding annotations to an interactive 3D View helps you to make sure that every potential pain point is addressed. Customers also benefit as they’ll be able to discover additional information whilst they interact with the 3D View. Let’s find out how you can create annotations and add them to 3D Views.
Open the 3D View in your account on the Cappasity platform. Click “Annotations,” then select “Add annotation.”
Now choose the annotation type: text or URL.
Type in the text of the annotation. Pick how you want it to show: On click, On mouse hover, or Always.
Place a hotspot with a click. Continue placing hotspots. As frames switch automatically, use A and D buttons to switch between frames as needed. Use arrow keys to move the hotspot. Click “Save” when you are done.
You can also add URL type annotations. Paste the URL and choose the display type: On click or Always.
Place the hotspot and click “Save.” Select “Done” to finish editing. Now you can examine the 3D View and read the annotations.
