Tutorial: How to Shoot Gadgets in Cappasity 3D View format
When shooting gadgets, we can often face issues because of screen glare, reflections and insufficient brightness. There are some tricks to avoid this that will make shooting easier and more convenient. For example, to get rid of glare, rearrange the light, and black flags will help to remove reflections on the screen. In order to control the brightness of the screen, match the external lighting so that the gadget screen will be brighter against its background. Before you start, make sure you have all the necessary equipment. To make the best 3D image of gadgets, you will need:
- A turntable
- A 4k camera
- A semi-transparent backdrop
- 5 studio lights (at least 120W)
- A softbox
- Black flags for lighting correction

If the screen looks dark in the frame, set the screen brightness to the maximum value, reduce the lighting in the scene and change the exposure until you reach the desired level of screen brightness.

If you are shooting a smart watch and the screen turns off too quickly, do the following: start recording, turn on the watch screen and start the turntable. If you rotate the watch quickly, you will get several seconds of footage with a switched on screen.
