Cappasity Presented its Project at TechCrunch Disrupt

On September 18–20, 2017, TechCrunch Disrupt, one of the world’s largest and most reputable technology conferences, took place in San Francisco. It brought together the most innovative and talented entrepreneurs, investors, tech figures, and all those who set their hearts on working in cutting-edge technology.

Events held included on-stage interviews with the industry’s key innovators, a startup Battlefield competition, a 24-hour hackathon, startup alley, hardware alley, and after-parties.

As one of the sponsors and exhibitors at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2017, Cappasity showed off its decentralized platform that allows for quick and inexpensive production of high-quality 3D content. Now Cappasity is launching a global ecosystem that is based on the platform. The Ecosystem participants are content creators, application developers, businesses, and ordinary consumers. The platform uses blockchain to protect copyrights of all participants and charge close to nothing for transactions fees within the marketplace.

At the company stand our representatives demonstrated how the platform works and presented the creation and integration processes of 3D content for VR/AR devices. Attendees showed a strong interest and curiosity and asked a lot of questions about the technology and its potential.

Marianna Alshina, Cappasity’s CBDO and Co-Founder, appeared on the Showcase Stage and introduced the basic principles and benefits of the Cappasity decentralized platform to the audience. She explained in detail how the Ecosystem works and why it needs Cappasity Token as the fuel.

She emphasized that the platform is designed to unite active application developers and content creators, businesses, as well as all those who are interested in AR/VR technologies for personal purposes.

Before Cappasity, 3D content production was labor-intensive, time-consuming and expensive. Now Cappasity is offering a technical solution that will solve the content production problem once and for all. The Ecosystem provides participants with a convenient environment and all the necessary tools, including free API and SDK.

The Cappasity team believes that the Ecosystem will make 3D content production and distribution fast and accessible and help bring AR/VR technologies to a new level.
