Stream Pirates Roadmap to Launch!
Stream Pirates is the second game by Captain.tv focused on giving streamers a new way to play with their community. Our first game, Stream Raiders, helped thousands of streamers create engaging content, earn revenue ($3M+ paid out), and grow their channels — and we are looking to partner with streamers to help make Pirates even more impactful!
We’ve learned so much in the past few years building Stream Raiders, and we think Pirates has the chance to be even bigger than Raiders was. We hope you’ll join us for the ride and help us build and improve Pirates!!

Closed Beta 2.0: Winter’s Wrath + Battle Pass
Pirates Closed Beta 2 is live! With this release comes a new icy Voyage, Twitch drops each week, the first Battle Pass, and A TON of improvements and fixes based off community feedback. All Captain.tv Affiliates and Partners get access to this closed beta, and more streamers will be added every week leading up to launch.
Winter’s Wrath!
Start Date: Tuesday, December 13 2022
End Date: March 7 2023
Lead your crew on a new voyage to the Northern Archipelago in the search for legendary equipment, including the Golden Compass! This Voyage features a ton of new island and enemy content, 8 new Lost Islands to conquer, exclusive Ice Harpooner Skins, and 15 brand new pieces of equipment to collect!
There’s also our First BATTLE PASS! It comes with a free tier and paid tier.

Paid tier ($10 for the 12-week long Voyage):
- Use 3 Pirates at a time on each island (instead of 2)

Twitch Drops Each Week!
For this closed beta we’re activating drops for select Partners and Affiliates. Tune into select Stream Pirates streams each week to earn in-game rewards and the first exclusive skin set series, Skeleton Crew!
A new skin will be released each week for a total of 10 skins.

Partner Program Rewards!
If you’re a Captian.tv Affiliate or Partner you’ll have the opportunity to unlock all kinds of awesome rewards by playing Winter’s Wrath, including unlocking your first CUSTOM SKIN in the game! Be one of the first streamers to get a Captain Skin in Pirates by playing.
Closed Beta 2.5: Streamer Skins!
Towards the end of the Voyage we’ll be opening up the in-game Shop to let players and captains use their loot to purchase items for their journey. And for the first time in the game Streamer Skins will be available for purchase by players. Streamers who play during our Closed Betas can earn custom skins in the game, and revenue share on those skins via our Captain.tv Partner program (40% for affiliates, and 50% for partners).
Closed Beta 3: MASSIVE GAME UPDATE!
There’s been a TON of great feedback coming in already, and we have some major updates planned based on community and streamer feedback.
- RELICS — rare treasure captains find and use to boost island raids.
The Relic system offers a way for streamers to earn rare treasures in each voyage, and select one of those treasures at the start of each battle. Choose a relic to bring ashore to help your crew complete the island. Each island has a chance to hide rare treasure chests. Crews must explore the islands to find them.
2. CAPTAIN CHESTS — chest system revamp with FIVE chests on every island
3. AUTO-PLAY — all veiwer units can play automatically.
A new Viewer Auto-Play feature will allow viewers to move units automatically so they can kick back enjoy the stream & return to collect their rewards at the end of each island.
4. UNIT LEVELING- units gain levels each voyage that offer permanent boost
Unit leveling will also be addressed here and will be permanently boosted instead of restarting each voyage.
