The overall mindset of the general public with respect to transportation encompasses owning a personal car for their respective use. However, there are people who also talk about public transport and its effectiveness. The latter claim public transport is in certain areas more efficient and reliable as compared to a personal vehicle. Well, this just gives us an overview of where do we stand when it comes to the thought of the transportation system in the world.

The real position as described by Burns in his article ‘A vision of our transport future’ is to rethink the entire system, that is the transport system.

What do they say?

Experts and writers, or the think-tank as I call it, talk about the unsustainability of the road transport. They argue that road transport is also not safe; given the rate of deaths occurring due to road accidents which is more than 1.2 million people each year. The main focus is towards reinventing the entire transport part of the society, and not only improving fuel economy or creating better batteries.

The BRAINCHILD and society!

A typical consumer interviewed from one of the articles has led us through his journey from a conventional fuel car like all of us drive to a hybrid or electric car. He has developed a sense of satisfaction from the car he updated to which off course was the hybrid car, and the reasons provided by him behind his shift were a better fuel economy and lower emissions. Now just considering this information, we can interpret the trend of change in the society. The proverb “necessity is the mother of invention” can be very well incorporated in this thought which I am trying to convey to my worthy audience.

All of us being humans have a tendency to strive for better, or if not that then at least working things out the way they can benefit us in any way. Similarly, don’t you think when citizens of the one world will face issues like congestion on roads or won’t find out time to maintain and drive their cars, they would head out for an alternate…….?!
