Car or NO Car?

The idea of re-inventing cars is not only mine, but also endorsed by people around me, and in this case my own peers. There is an air and fortunately awareness about the need of a newer and better system when it comes to cars. For example, a peer of mine, Eric says in his blog post, “what’s interesting about these cars is their technology that makes them so efficient cars.” Here he stresses on the utility of electric cars. Electric cars too are an excellent initiative towards redefining the transport system. I personally am convinced that the introduction of electric cars is a milestone towards a better future, and cars in this category can also be accredited for being the pioneers of the “organic” world.

The idea of sustainable transport, could also have another angle to it, which means decreasing the total number of personally owned cars and encouraging the use of public transport for everyone. In his article Michael claims, “there are now around 750 million cars in the world and predictions are that if the present trend continues, the number will double in the next 30 years.” Taking this into account and realizing for a moment about the scenario the world will be in, it should not come to any surprise that mother Earth will be looking miserably drowned in cars and the toxic gases released from them. It is therefore, our duty to think about the future, contemplate, and come up with solutions to this problem. If we do not control the number of vehicles coming out on roads, we might end up sitting in utter waste in the near future.
