IEO
Carbon Offset Initiative closed a deal with one of the largest trading platforms in the crypto world — the P2PB2B exchange. Our IEO offering will be organized into 4 different IEO sessions, and each of the sessions will be set with a different price of our COI. Early investors who join the first IEO session will be able to get a 50% discount from our standard token price. The standard has been set as $0.14 USD per 1 COI token.
P2PB2B IEO Session 1
(25.11.2019–23.12.2019)
If you would like to participate in Session 1 of COI IEO, there are two ways to join our token sale. You can either go directly to our website, and click the “IEO/BYU ON P2PB2B” button, or you can visit the website of our partnering exchange, P2PB2B.
During Session 1, the price of COI token will remain at the 50% discounted rate, or $0.07 USD. We allocated 7 142 857 COI tokens for Session 1, with a total value of $500,000 USD. The minimum buy is 700 COI tokens or $49 USD. The accepted currencies by the P2PB2B exchange are BTC, Ethereum, USD and USDT.
P2PB2B IEO Session 2
(06.01.2020–03.02.2020)
Our second P2PB2B session will start on 6th January next year. The asked price per token will slightly increase and will get up to $0.098 USD per 1 COI token. We will allocate 5,102,040 COI tokens for this round, and again — the total value of the session pool will be as it was in Session 1, and will be equal to $500,000 USD.
P2PB2B IEO Session 3 & 4
Dates: TBA
Dates for the third and fourth sessions haven`t been set yet. We will announce the exact dates in the New Year, but we will keep the format of the sessions as it is, and will aim at running both of the sessions for a 4-week period each.
ICO
For those who do not have an account or would not like to create one with P2PB2B, there will be another way of joining our token offering. Our ICO is already open to nearly everyone (with exception of South Korean, Chinese; Israeli & US citizens) and will continue even between the IEO sessions. You can take advantage of our offering even on official domestic holidays, as our website will be up and running 24/7 to provide our supporters the chance to join. ICO price is currently $.0.07 USD per 1 COI token, but we will adjust the price to the asked price in the IEO sessions. This means that we will increase the token price to $0.098USD on 6th January 2019.
KYC (Know your customer)
Know your customer is a standard and compulsory condition for joining either of the two token sale formats that we are organizing (ICO/IEO). Our partnering exchange will handle the KYC of users who use their trading platform. However, those users who are going through our website can be ensured that they are in safe hands. We are using the services of one of the largest on-boarding platforms to guarantee security, safety and ease of KYC completion. Our provider HooYU is trusted and used by corporate giants, including Apple and Nat West.
HooYu KYC (on-boarding procedure)
Step 1: After you create your account on our website, you will receive a HooYu request via email or text message and will be asked to take a selfie. This enables the HooYu team to carry out a quick facial biometric comparison against your ID document(s). A picture of yourself can be taken from a desktop via a webcam or via your mobile, and you`ll be able to switch between the two.
Step 2: Once you have completed Step 1, you will then be asked to take a picture of your ID document(s). Depending on what ID document you have been asked to verify, make sure you follow the guidance below to take the perfect picture.
Both of the steps take up to a few minutes for completion. After passing the 2 steps successfully, you will be taken to the next stage and you will be allowed to make your purchase on the COI website.
