Introducing Profile Creation Rewards
CARD.CPXD rewards for Card Pay & Card Wallet users
We’re excited to announce profile creation rewards for Card Pay and Card Wallet users! New and existing users will be rewarded with 100 CARD.CPXD upon creating their Card.xyz profile.
Launched in November 2021, the Card Pay Protocol is hosted on Gnosis Chain and is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). The system enables direct payments to merchants and gives users access to a built-in fiat on-ramp. Card Wallet, the companion app for Card Pay, is a mobile application for blockchain payments that provides users and merchants with a unique gasless payment experience, making Web3 payments accessible to everybody. Used together, Card Pay and Card Wallet provide a completely trustless payment ecosystem.

How do I create a Card.xyz profile?
Card Wallet users can create their Card.xyz profiles by following the on-page instructions here. Once a profile is created, the newly created profile will be rewarded with 100 CARD.CPXD tokens.
Who is eligible for the reward?
Any user who creates or has created a Card.xyz profile will be rewarded. Users who have created a profile in the past will be eligible to claim 100 CARD.CPXD immediately, using the rewards section of the Card Wallet app.
How do I claim the reward?
You can claim your reward by going to the rewards center in the mobile application (top right) and following the instructions. The reward should appear within an hour of creating your profile, and you have 518,400 blocks (~30 days) to claim the reward.
How is the reward amount calculated?
It is 100 CARD.CPXD for each user’s first profile. An automated process will scan on-chain activity, look for the first profile each user creates, and write a Merkle root back to the chain to reward them.
