Card Reward

We are currently working to integrate the mobile wallet enhancement that is necessary to support the upcoming CARD airdrop. We added the ability for users to see the rewards they have earned, based on their activity history as computed and calculated by our analytic service, the Card Reward Protocol.

Based on those results, users will be able to construct a claim directly in their Card Wallet and send it to our smart contract on the Gnosis chain to claim their rewards. This feature is built directly into the wallet and does not require connecting to any website or dApp. As long as users have downloaded “Card Wallet by Cardstack” for iOS or Android from the App Store or Play Store, respectively, they can claim the rewards they have earned. We will make an announcement and provide instructions to the community when this feature is pushed live and ready to use.

Card Wallet

While this retro airdrop is only on one chain, we are proceeding to design a new smart contract wallet system based on Gnosis Safe 1.3. This will allow us to deploy our protocol and add support in our mobile wallet, so that our users can access more than one layer-2 chain simultaneously without switching networks.

As part of this work, we are reorganizing the navigation of Card Wallet to introduce a new home screen. This new home screen will summarize all the information and assets that a user has within a certain multi-sig wallet / Gnosis Safe.

We will also make it easy for users to create new safes, so they can have alternate personas that are represented by different NFTs in their collections without tying them to their real name. We call these “persona safes.” At the same time, we are building extensions to the Gnosis Safe smart contracts, so that users can create these persona safes on multiple chains, while having the same exact address and the same security settings, regardless of the chain from which they deploy their persona.

Cardstack at the Avalanche Summit

Supporting a multi-chain future is a key priority in the Cardstack roadmap. Last week, Kiel Dowlin traveled to Barcelona to attend the Avalanche Summit. The goal was to learn more about the AVAX ecosystem, as Avalanche C-Chain is one of the chains that have the requisite support for Gnosis Safe we need to deploy our protocol stack in the near future. We will continue monitoring development within the AVAX system and beyond.
