Update: The TGE has concluded.

Dear Cardstack Community,

We’ve heard your feedback, and we’re grateful for your desire to make a generous contribution to the Cardstack Project. We also know how long you’ve looked forward to the Crowd Fundraiser (Batch C) of the Token Generation Event (TGE), and the effort you’ve put into your KYC applications. As such, we’ve set the contribution caps to allow as many people to participate as possible.

When the TGE opens on May 31 at 13:00 CEST, the individual contribution cap will be 5 ETH during the first hour. Based on our statistical analysis, this amount should ensure an allocation for all eligible and interested participants. During this time, you shouldn’t have a problem making your contribution while paying a reasonable gas price. Nonetheless, we encourage you to act as early as possible, as the the smart contract accepts contributions on a first-come, first serve basis.

After one hour has passed, the contribution cap for all participants will be raised to 15 ETH. This will be the only cap raise during the Crowd Fundraiser. Contributions made during the first hour will count toward this cap. (Please note that this cap raise time is approximate, as changes to the smart contract take effect once successfully mined by the Ethereum blockchain.)

As promised, our early supporters will receive a higher initial cap as a symbol of our appreciation. If you are an early supporter, you will be able to view your cap when logging into your dashboard at https://cardstack.com just before the start of the TGE. The early supporter cap will not exceed the AML limit of USD $10,000.

The minimum contribution is 0.1 ETH.

Important Note: In the Cardstack White Paper and previous communications on Medium and Telegram, we mentioned there will be another cap raise at the six-hour mark. This will not happen. Due to Swiss Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, we are not able to uncap the contribution amounts as this would exceed their AML of USD $10,000.

Next Steps

You will receive the authentic Cardstack Token Smart Contract address on your dashboard at cardstack.com upon the start of the TGE. There will also be a live stream one hour before the start of the TGE, in which the entire contribution address will be revealed. Please be vigilant, and only contribute after verifying the address.

We’ll be providing detailed contribution instructions shortly.

We look forward to your participation in the Token Generating Event, and thank you for your continued support.

Important Reminders

  • We will never, under any circumstances, solicit funds from you via email, private message, or social media.
  • All contributions must be sent directly to Cardstack’s Ethereum smart contract address, which will be made available through the TGE dashboard on cardstack.com at the start of the Token Generation Event.
