A conventional career with a nice salary or a passion which will not earn you as much?

This is a ridiculous question for two reasons (at least two):

1/ a career that pays a really nice salary pays it today — we have no idea what it will look like in the future, or whether we will still be able, or willing, to do it, say in 5, 10 or 20 years, and vice versa, a career which is your passion and doesn’t earn you much (or doesn’t earn you any money) today — we have no idea what it will look like in the future, say in 5, 10 or 20 years (especially that people with passion are…
