On adulthood (and the #1 reason people never get what they want in life)
When you realize that it’s all on you / that it’s not your parents’ or anybody else’s responsibility, your life or how you feel.
When you don’t have expectations that your parents should do (should have done) this or that / should give (should have given) you this or that.
When you no longer care what your parents think about you and your life choices and are able to say ‘no’ to them.
When you no longer feel like a victim in your relationship with your parents.
When you let go of hurt feelings from the past and when you can use it (past) to grow.
Some people never become adults.
Thus the #1 reason people never get what they want in life is they never turned into adults.
