The only way you can find your passion

Reject the conventional meaning of success. Define it for yourself.

Start with something that you care about and / or that excites you.

Listen only to yourself.

Pour your heart into it every step of the way and see where it will take you.

If you don’t enjoy it try something else. Use the same formula.

It’s the only way you can find your passion.

At least that’s my current conviction after following the conventional career building advice in my teenage years, 20s and early to mid 30s, and doing everything but (following it) in my mid to late 30s.
