Weekends are for the family. Really? Says who?

‘Weekends are for the family’ is a bullshit cliché to me.

They, like other days, are for living your life.

Family and work should equally count as life, or this should at least be your goal.

There is no reason to assume that you can’t work on weekends (for example start your side hustle) other than all of us believing this taboo cliché about weekends, and being intimidated by it.

In my case, family and work count equally as life.
