Ebisu(恵比寿 / 戎) is the god of wealth. People go to a shrine to wish their success of business, career and so on. Toka(十日) means January 10th. It’s a festival held in honor of Ebisu. Today I went to Kyoto Ebisu Shrine(京都ゑびす神社).

There were a lot of stalls near the shrine. They sell BBQ, alcohols, candies, etc.

Colorful lanterns.

They provide bamboo grasses prayed by Shinto maidens (called ‘Miko’ 巫女).

Beautiful.

I bought one.

Camera equipment:

  • FUJIFILM X-E3
