Pitching

On March 26, 2019 I traveled to Toronto, Ontario to participate in the Harvard Business School Club of Toronto’s New Venture Showcase. The competition, open to Canadian ventures led by Harvard Alumni (including those not from the Business School), was basically an alternative, and uniquely positioned alternative to the Harvard Business School New Venture Competition.

It was really humbling to be on stage with some great competitors in a meaningful setting, the headquarters of Me to We, and to be judged by Bruce Croxon (Dragons’ Den, Round13 Capital), Justin Catalano, CFA (Fengate Asset Management) and Andy Krupski (The Hive Marketing).

In the end, Unburden Care (Now Known as Caregiver Support Technologies) was selected by both the Judges and the audience as the most compelling new venture. It was a tremendous moment of validation for us, as we pursue a new vision of caregiving.
