After speculation around noticeable changes in their designs and logos, Adobe finally gave us some insight into their brand updates and locals up north celebrated an announcement by a much-loved music venue. Read on for details.

Adobe shares more detail on “evolving” brand identity

If you’re a regular Adobe user, you might’ve noticed some changes to their design and logos over the past few weeks. In a newly released blog post, they’ve provided more detail on what they’ve been working on to evolve their brand identity.

They’ve switched up their original logo by changing to a single colour appearance with a new “warmer” and “contemporary” red.

The brand has also revisited its Creative Cloud logo, using a new colour gradient with an increased weight of the icon. Another notable change is their addition of 3-letter logos for PsC (Adobe Photoshop Camera) for example.

A lot of the reasons behind their changes are to improve flexibility and accessibility for users and to be responsive to the range of devices that their products are available on.

Cut Media launches film promo for Santa Cruz Bicycles

Glasgow based ad agency, Cut Media created a “Get Creative With Your Surroundings” campaign, promoting Santa Cruz Bicycles.

In the video, a miniature bicycle is ridden by hand, expanding on their concept of “the little bike that has big ideas”. It’s definitely worth a watch.

Iconic local music venue announces plans to reopen

Surf Cafe in Tynemouth is well-known by locals across the North East as a venue for up and coming local artists. Recent guests on the stage include Sam Fender, L Devine and Brooke Bentham who have all gone on to have global success.

After closing its doors earlier in the year, the Cafe has since undergone some renovations which we’re all looking forward to seeing. They’re also under new management with Richy Southern returning to the business along with Head Chef John Nellist who has worked at Lola Jeans and The Cluny.

We’re looking forward to seeing what’s in store for the iconic North East venue.
