IOV Token Migration Tutorial---Trust Wallet
After the IOV Blockchain mainnet launch, the ERC20 IOV has been permanently frozen and cannot be used for normal transfer transactions . User can use the ERC20 wallet Private Key, Mnemonic or Keystore to import and complete the migration in the IOV wallet. After the migration is completed, user will get a IOV WALLET account ( the address is the same as the ERC20 wallet account )and the normal transfer transaction can be performed.
Given that many users had being asking about the migration of Trust Wallet , we have sorted out the relevant operation guide for your reference. There are two permanent Token migration channels.
Channel I — -Via IOV Wallet ( Andriod )
Users can copy or write down the Recovery Phrase (Mnemonic) of the Trust Wallet ( with IOV balance ) and then import them into the IOV Wallet.
Step 1: Download a IOV Wallet ( Android ).

Step 2: Copy or write down the Recovery Phrase (Mnemonic) of the trust wallet.
Step 3: Import the Recovery Phrase (Mnemonic) to IOV Wallet.
- Log in to your IOV wallet home page, click the button in the top right corner , then click “ Import Wallet “
2. Click “ Mnemonic” , enter the recovery phrase of your trust wallet in the right order
Channel II — -Via IOV Wallet ( Web )
If you don’t have an android phone, we suggest you to migrate via IOV Wallet web version.

The IOV Wallet Web version provides two ways to import ERC20 wallet, Keystore or Private Key.
If you can’t find the channel to export the Keystore or Private Key of your trust wallet, we suggest the following methods to finish the ERC20 IOV migration.
Method 1: With the help of MetaMask. You need to import the Recovery Phrase of Trust Wallet into MetaMask, then export the private key/keystore from MetaMask, and then import the it into IOV Wallet.
Method 2: With the help of TokenPocket or Imtoken ( other ERC20 wallet ) . You need to download TokenPocket or Imtoken, select the Ethereum main network when creating the wallet, import the Recovery Phrase of Trust Wallet, and then export the private key/keystore of TokenPocket or Imtoken , and import it through IOV Wallet Web.
Reminder: To avoiding the risk of using one private key in both the ERC20 wallet and the IOV wallet , we advice you to create a new wallet in the IOV wallet and move the IOV balance from the imported wallet to the newly created one. And then you can delete the imported wallet account.
