• Online giving grew by 7.9 percent from 2015 to 2016

• The percentage of total fundraising that came from online giving reached 7.2 percent in 2016, a record high

• 41 percent of nonprofits received at least one online donation of $1,000 or more

• In 2016, 17 percent of online transactions were made using a mobile device; this is up from 14 percent in 2015 and just 9 percent in 2014
