Oyster™ acquires Carrom to accelerate global employment platform
Today we are thrilled to announce that we are joining forces with OysterHR, and have entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired.

The last 2 years have been an incredible journey. We have moved from failure to failure with enthusiasm.
Being honest, the journey was tough. But absolutely worth it. It included a lot of stress, anxiety, and sleepless nights.
This wouldn’t have happened with all the kind customers, advisors, a helping remote ecosystem, and my co-founder and wife Keerthi.
We were lucky enough to have wonderful conversations with lots of smart people who love remote work.
When we started out, our goal was to bring equal opportunity to the distributed talent that is spread across the world.
We could change how employment worked in remote teams.
Both OysterHR and Carrom share the same vision of making employment in remote teams easier. Oyster is a remote employment enablement platform, founded by Tony Jamous and Jack Mardack.
This is a very complex problem to solve. But with a stellar team at the helm with tonnes of experience, joining forces would help us execute on the same vision better and faster.
In the coming days, we’ll share what we are up to and what will we be working on in more detail. Together we really wish to help the remote ecosystem thrive, and build an operating system for remote teams.
If you are searching for solutions to employ people in your distributed team, head over to oysterhr.com, or feel free to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Onwards and upwards.
Keerthi and Sooraj.
