Carry and Origin Protocol Join Forces — Joint meet-up in Seoul

Hello friends of the Carry community,

We are thrilled to announce our first joint meet-up with Origin Protocol. The meet-up will take place on Tuesday, December 4th, 7PM at Sparkplus Samsung lounge. Origin Protocol, based in San Francisco, is one of the most legitimate and exciting blockchain projects in the sphere right now. Origin hosted their first meet-up here in September at the Hashed Lounge. This time, we are excited to share this meet-up with them. We warmly welcome the Origin team back to Seoul!

Co-CEO Richard Choi and Co-Founder Josh Fraser will be speaking for Carry and Origin, respectively (the agenda is provided down below).

What is Origin?

Origin Protocol is creating a platform that allows developers and businesses to build decentralized marketplaces on the blockchain. Buyers and sellers can easily find and exchange fractional usage of assets and services directly from each other. No middleman raking in high commission fees (think Uber, Airbnb, Fiverr, and so on). Origin will offer an open-sourced, decentralized alternative to the current model of the sharing economy, and it is exciting to see their process in real-time.

Origin is backed by significant investors, such as Pantera and Omisego. More importantly, Origin and Carry share the same investors, Hashed and Kenetic. Not mention that Vitalik Buterin was a co-speaker at one of their meet-ups in Hong Kong!
