Cars & Code guidelines

How to write your articles for Cars & Code readers:

  1. Focus on Value — Why should the reader invest time in reading your article? Will it add value to them? Could it help them to avoid mistakes? Can it bring them new knowledge? Is your topic unique? Please, ask yourself first before you submit your story.
  2. Include links to sources — Please, be careful about submitting your articles if they include assertions with no authoritative sources or research. It’s always more credible by backing their facts with references — be it published research or expert opinion. Include links to sources that support the factual assertions in your article.
  3. Master the Title — Have a strong title and subheads. If you want to grab more attention from readers, make the titles sound attractive or thoughtful which will leave readers curious to read more.
  4. Avoid plagiarism — We don’t like plagiarism and it also violates Medium’s rules against plagiarism.

Timing and feedback

  • We value every writer who wants to reach our audience. However, if you don’t get feedback within 48 hours (from the moment you submit), please consider your story not accepted. But please, don’t let this discourage you from submitting your future drafts.

Cars & Code looks forward to your submissions!
