Development Updates

During the last month, the Cartesi team continued progress on several fronts to further our vision of bringing the next million developers to the blockchain. The major developments were:

Cartesi Rollups Rollout

  • Continued implementation of the Cartesi Rollups infrastructure.
  • In addition to State Fold, we published the Transaction Manager and Rollups On-chain pieces.
  • The last piece, the Cartesi Node (Rollups Off-Chain), and a summary of all pieces together are on their way.

Noether’s PoS Delegation System:

  • Significant progress was made on a new testnet version with release imminent, including new features suggested by our community. Mainnet will follow in the coming weeks.
  • Cartesi Explorer revamps and upgrades for delegation.

Cartesi Texas HODL’em and Turn-Based Game Infrastructure:

  • Integration of Texas HODL’em’s modules, especially integrating the WebApp with the TurnBasedGame smart contracts and with the Poker Engine cross-compiled to WebAssembly.
  • Started several UX and performance improvements.
  • Implementation of a Chess game using the same TurnBasedGame framework used in Texas HODL’em.

We’re hiring! We’re looking for collaborative team players to join the fast-growing Cartesi team. If you’re passionate about blockchain and have an interest in making blockchain mainstream, make sure to head over to our career openings or send your resume along with why you’re interested to hr@cartesi.io.
