We are excited to announce the Cartesi Community Adoption Program!

Our team is currently executing to exceed expectations on how to launch and operate a successful community and ecosystem.

As part of our internal strategic outreach, we have decided to run a Cartesi Community Adoption Program, maximizing exposure of our core fundamentals. We believe that rewarding users who help build Cartesi is a crucial factor to our success.

Cartesi Community Adoption Program

Our Community Program will run on Bitcointalk & Altcointalk simultaneously, with separated rewards and allocations to each specific task. The total allocation for the program will be 1,000,000 CTSI.

The campaign is set to run from December 24th, 2019 to February 18th, 2020 and distribution will follow within 30-days of the TGE that remains tentative in Q1 (TBD). Participants may* be required to re-verify their status, once Cartesi’s token is live, and concurrently input their wallet information.

To stagger supply, we will also be releasing bounty rewards monthly, for 3 consecutive months. The first allocations of CTSI will be disbursed 30-days from our first exchange listing (TBD), 60-days from the first exchange listing and 90-days from the first exchange listing. This will help ensure a steady introduction of supply once CTSI is live on various exchanges.

Upcoming Technical Features & Brief Recap

The Cartesi team has now released and open sourced Cartesi Core as specified in our techpaper (except for the DAG feature). With this milestone, we have achieved Verifiability, meaning that large computations can be adjudicated for correctness on the blockchain at negligible cost, in a safe and decentralized way. Cartesi Core is available as open-source on Github.

In the next few weeks we will be releasing our first DApp — a tournament on a tower defense game. This game showcases a fully decentralized game that was developed using conventional software stacks on Linux, and also requiring billions of microprocessor instructions (and thus impossible to run on-chain).

Moving Forward With Adoption

In the upcoming weeks and months, we’re going to be greatly increasing our output on various endeavors, developments, our testnet and upcoming DApps that will be launched and developed within Cartesi’s ecosystem.

With our new marketing team in place, we expect to grow our community exponentially. One of our most important focuses is onboarding developers and creating new strategic relations with the real-world and businesses in the blockchain ecosystem. If you’re interested in getting involved, feel free to reach out to us at info@cartesi.io.

Conclusion

Cartesi holds true to its vision of making the development of DApps as close as possible to their centralized counterparts. We believe this wouldn’t be possible without a strong community and core vision to drive adoption. These fundamental principles will propel Cartesi into developing a Layer-2 solution that is easily understood by our developers and users, while being accessible enough for the masses.

Ultimately, enjoy our new Community Adoption Program, one of our many community programs that will be launching in the upcoming New Year. Thank you for your continued support in Cartesi and Happy Holidays!
