Enabling Cross-Chain Interoperability with DeFi and DApps on Polygon

We’re pleased to announce that CTSI is now mapped to Polygon’s Matic PoS Chain and enabled on the Polygon bridge, which offers an easy-to-use solution for bridging ERC-20 tokens between Ethereum and Polygon.

The official Polygon (Matic PoS Chain) CTSI address:

0x2727Ab1c2D22170ABc9b595177B2D5C6E1Ab7B7B

In order to transact on Polygon you will first need to complete the following steps:

  1. Transfer funds via Polygon’s bridge: https://wallet.matic.network
  2. To use the Polygon Bridge, you will need to be holding CTSI in your MetaMask wallet
  3. You will then need to connect to the correct network. Select “Matic Network” on Metamask, or add their custom RPC
  4. Once you select “Matic Network” and connect, click “Move funds to Matic Network”
  5. Search for Cartesi (CTSI)
  6. Click on Transfer

Note: You cannot directly send funds from an Ethereum address to your Polygon address, you must use the bridge.

You will now be able to transact on Polygon’s Matic PoS Chain with CTSI, including interacting with DeFi and DApps on Polygon.

Polygon’s Matic PoS Chain enables ERC-20 tokens to use the security of Ethereum while coupled with the low-fee environment of a layer-2 sidechain. Polygon provides an ultra low-fee environment for DeFi and other DApps, with major projects such as Uniswap alternatives (Quickswap) already present.

CTSI is Now Listed on QuickSwap under the Default Token List

We are also excited to announce that CTSI has been added to Quickswap’s default token list.

QuickSwap is a next-gen DEX on Layer 2, powered by Matic Network. QuickSwap allows you to trade at lightning-fast speeds with close-to-zero gas fees and is quickly becoming the go-to Polygon DEX.

This announcement is part of our ongoing initiatives to add utility to CTSI and ensure it is available on all relevant blockchains and cross-chain DApps.

CTSI holders now have the option to go cross-chain on Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon!

About Polygon

Polygon is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building and connecting Secured Chains like Plasma, Optimistic Rollups, zkRollups, Validium etc and Standalone Chains like Matic POS, designed for flexibility and independence. Polygon’s Layer 2 chains have seen widespread adoption with 100+ Dapps, ~7M txns and ~200K unique users.

About Cartesi

Cartesi is taking smart contracts to the next level. It is a chain-agnostic layer-2 infrastructure, solving the pressing problem of scalability on the most important blockchains. Most notably, Cartesi implements a unique Linux-supporting VM, rollups and side-chains to revolutionize the way developers create blockchain applications, allowing them to use mainstream software components.
