In a clear and concise manner, the Cartesi team is committed to being fully transparent about how funds related to CTSI are being managed, and where they are going. To make the CTSI Mine Reserve fully transparent, we have written a summary below about how the funds will enter the network.

Mine Reserve

As mentioned in our October, 2020 Transparency Report, we re-locked all 25% of the mining reserve into the DelayedWithdraw contract which now holds all of the mine reserve funds. It takes 7 days for any withdrawals to happen from this contract.

These withdrawals will then be placed into an intermediate wallet managed by the team that will facilitate transparent, safe, and secure transfers to the reward manager of the CTSI Reserve Mining system. You can view this intermediate team wallet at the following address:

The reward manager contract will then be distributing the earned funds to those who are staking and earning funds through CTSI Reserve Mining.

RewardManager Contract:

RewardManager — Chain 1 0xd013eaD7D15283686675DdD9719e8f87Ab715bF4

*Updated*: RewardManager — Chain 2: 0x85D365293c6EBd3B2FFD0913439c8a37071362A1

Internal Testing

To ensure the safety of the system, we started internal testing on mainnet with “Chain 0,” thus on the Cartesi Explorer, you will see that blocks were produced and rewards were received before the official launch. These were all internal testing funds to ensure everything was working properly.

For the mainnet launch on December 28, the official CTSI Reserve Mining will begin with “Chain 1.”

Cartesi’s Commitment to Bootstrapping Noether

As a commitment to ensuring the success of the network and bootstrapping Noether, Cartesi will be willing and aiming at keeping a total of up to 25% of the network participation rate, starting with a minimum participation of 1M CTSI. This will be closely watched and varied according to the network’s needs.

We are extremely excited to launch the first step towards Noether, Cartesi’s side chain, and have our community help bootstrap the network!

We are looking forward to the CTSI Reserve Mining launch and if you have any questions about CTSI Reserve Mining, make sure to hop over to one of our channels.
