It’s all gas and no breaks after Blockchain Rio and the Ethereum São Paulo hackathon! Next on the list, we headed to the heart of Switzerland’s Crypto Valley to attend CV Summit 2022. With over 900+ attending in person and 1500+ online, we had a fantastic time listening to insights shared by thought leaders across different industries, sharing our own findings with the community, and connecting with big Web2 companies, major investors, and visionaries alike.

Want to know what The Blockchain OS got up to? Check out our highlights:

Hello, blockchain meetup.

Cartesi Head of Business Development, Bruno Maia, answers the question, “does blockchain need an OS?”

Leading up to CV Summit 2022, we hosted a tech event alongside Certik over at CV Labs Zug’s Liquid Lounge. While Certik tackled security with “How do you out-smart a hacker?”, Head of Business Development, Bruno, answered the question on everyone’s lips “Does blockchain need an operating system?”

It was brilliant to see the turnout for our presentation and we enjoyed getting into deeper discussion with everyone after the presentation on why we’re bringing a Linux OS to blockchain. With over 25 million active Web2 developers today and only a tiny fraction of them building in Web3 — we’re excited to unlock the door for mass adoption of blockchain tech world over with The Blockchain OS.

Hello, Web3 Tech Panel.

Co-founder Erick joined tech leaders on the CV Summit main stage to debate the current state of Web3.

Co-founder Erick joined tech leaders on the CV Summit main stage to debate the current state of Web3, going in depth into Layers 0, 1, 2, 3. Alongside insights shared by Danny Rowshandel (CV VC), Shyam Duraiswami (QPQ Global), Manu Nelamane Siddalingegowda (Lisk) and Joe Petrowski (Web3 Foundation), it was great to hear Erick share his thoughts on interoperability, scalability, and user experience and to introduce how The Blockchain OS can play into this on a bigger stage.
