Two new milestones completed — ready for Cartesi Rollups Testnet Alpha?

Can’t wait to delve into the latest Cartesi Rollups release? Well, we’ve got a treat for you. This release marks the completion of two milestones in our development roadmap! Which ones, you ask? Road to Mainnet MIII and Validator Nodes MII is now 100% complete — bringing us to our Testnet Alpha launch.

For developers interested in building with The Blockchain OS, this means you can deploy your DApps and keep them running in our Testnet execution infrastructure. In this alpha version, you’ll still need to request information from our developers if any execution issues pop up — but we’ll be happy to assist! Make sure to join us over in our Discord Development Community.

To provide developers of all levels with a better onboarding experience, we’ve also revamped our website for Cartesi Rollups to increase accessibility and ease of use. Take a look and let us know what you think — we’re open to feedback whether you’re a newcomer to Cartesi or a longstanding member of our community.

And another exciting update for you all? Say hello to the first hacks developed by pioneers on The Blockchain OS. They are here for developers to get inspired with creative applications for their own projects. From a Titanic Survival Model to a Decentralized Voting System and more; you can finally come and interact with The Blockchain OS tech yourself!

The lowdown on what’s new in Cartesi Rollups Alpha 0.6.1…

The contents of this release can be grouped into 4 categories:

  1. Internal enhancements and fixes
  2. Documentation — a revamp of our Cartesi Rollups website to offer a better developer experience when onboarding.
  3. Deployment system and Cartesi’s Testnet execution environment — developers are now able to deploy their DApps and keep them running in our execution infrastructure.
