Waiting to hear about progress on The Blockchain OS? You’re in luck — with Cartesi Rollups Alpha 0.6.0. we’re bringing increased stability and performance for developers building their DApps using The Blockchain OS.

From a more stable validator node to keep DApps running in our infrastructure, to enhanced performance when it comes down to executing code inside the Cartesi Machine — developers, no need to change the way you use our tech, just sit back and enjoy the improvements!

And that’s not all. We’re passionate about removing barriers to entry for developers of all kinds — so with this update, getting started on The Blockchain OS can be done with just one click! For newcomers to Cartesi technology, this makes the onboarding process much easier — whether you’re exploring from the comfort of your own home or taking part in our workshops!

For Cartesi enthusiasts all around the world, this release is great news for increasing the widespread adoption of Cartesi tech across Web2 and Web3 developer communities. And with even more developers making themselves at home on The Blockchain OS, amazing new DApps are on the horizon!

The lowdown on what’s new in Cartesi Rollups Alpha 0.6.0…

  1. A more stable validator node to keep DApps running in our execution infrastructure.
  2. Enhanced performance when executing code inside the Cartesi Machine.
  3. Better concurrent calls handling when the DApp’s UI needs to inspect the Cartesi Machine’s state (time to say goodbye to internal error exceptions in the UI!)
  4. We’re officially recommending Gitpod again, with a button that opens its quick-start environment directly in the browser with a single click. This is not only great for newcomers to explore but is essential for our workshops.
