Cartisan recently received a service request from a customer who owns a 2012 Honda Jazz. The owner was experiencing a shuddering vibration when applying brakes. On inspection, it was determined that the car needed a new set of front brake pads and rotors as the ones on the car were completely worn.

A quote was given for a set of Brembo Brake Pads and Slotted Brembo Brake Rotors.

The customer accepted and the Cartisan Service Team arrived at the customers’ location to carry out the service.

The bonnet was popped open, the brake reservoir cap unscrewed and the work was underway.

After raising the car up with the help of a hydraulic jack, the wheels were removed one by one. The brake calipers were first unmounted from the brake rotors. The worn brake pads were then removed from the calipers. The brake rotors were then unscrewed and unmounted from the wheel hubs.

A brand new Slotted Brembo Brake Rotor was mounted onto the wheel hub. After this, Brembo Brake Pads were fitted to the brake calipers.

The calipers were then screwed shut and the wheels were mounted back onto the hubs. The car is then lowered to the ground and taken for a test drive to confirm that the work was carried out successfully.
