2007 Mercedes-Benz E280 CDI Brembo Brake Pad Replacement

Cartisan recently carried out a Mercedes Benz E Class Brake Pad Replacement. This particular W211 was powered by a massive 2.8 liter V6 diesel engine churning out around 190bhp. The customer had worn out his front brake pads.

Cartisan provided the customer with a quotation for replacement of front brake pads. Cartisan recommended that the customer install Brembo brake pads for superior braking performance.

Mercedes Benz E Class Brake Pad Replacement with Brembo Brakes

The Cartisan service team arrived at the customer’s location with all the tools required to carry out the service. The Cartisan technician popped open the bonnet and opened the brake reservoir cap. He unscrewed the wheel lug nuts and placed a hydraulic jack underneath the car and raised it up.

The technician removed the front wheels from the car and proceeded to remove the brake pads from the calipers. He unscrewed the brake caliper pins and removed the caliper cover from the bracket. The front right brake pads for the E280 are equipped with brake wear sensors. The technician removed this sensor and replaced it with a brand new one. He installed brand new Brembo front brake pads into the brake calipers and placed the caliper cover over the brakes. He fastened the caliper cover by tightening the caliper pins.

The technician mounted the wheels back onto the Mercedes and lowered it to the ground.

The Cartisan Adviser carried out an inspection of the entire vehicle with the help of the Cartisan Inspection checklist. He took the car out for a test drive & confirmed that the service was successful.
