2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Brembo Brake Replacement

Cartisan recently carried out a 2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Brembo Brake Replacement. The car had clocked around 1,23,000 km on the odometer.

The complaint

The customer complained of a squeaking noise from the rear wheels as well as shuddering vibrations from the front wheel on the application of brakes.

The customer requested Cartisan to replace the front and rear brake pads for his Pajero Sport.

2008 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Brembo Brake Replacement Process

The Cartisan Service Team arrived at the customer’s location at the specified date and time.

The Cartisan technician popped the bonnet open and the service was underway. Once he opened the bonnet, the Cartisan technician unscrewed the brake fluid reservoir cap in order to prevent pressure build-up in the brake fluid lines.

The technician then placed a hydraulic jack under the Pajero and used it to raise it up off the ground.

The technician unmounted the front wheels by removing the lug nuts. After removing the wheels, he proceeded to unscrew the brake caliper pin so that the caliper could be opened and the front brake pads could be removed.

He then installed brand new brake pads from Brembo into the front brake calipers.

The technician then removes the rear wheels from the car. He then unscrews the caliper and unmounts it from the brake rotors. He removes the worn brake pads and replaces them with brand new Brembo brake pads.

Before installing the new Brembo brake pads, the technician greases the caliper pin and uses a C-Clamp to decompress the brake piston in order to create space for the new and thicker Brembo brake pads.
