The Cartisan Service team arrived at the customer’s location to carry out the service. First, the bonnet was popped open. The brake reservoir cap was opened to prevent the build-up of excessive pressure inside the brake fluid lines.

The car was raised up with the help of a hydraulic jack. The Cartisan Technician then removed the lug nuts from the front left wheel and unmounted it from the wheel hub.

The technician then loosens the brake caliper pins and removes the caliper cover from the brake rotor. The worn brake pads were removed from the brake caliper. The caliper itself was then unmounted from the brake rotor.

The small screw that holds the brake rotor in place was unscrewed and removed. The brake rotor was then unmounted from the wheel hub.

A brand new Meyle Platinum Disc Rotor was mounted onto the wheel hub. The technician then mounted the caliper fitted with new Brembo brake pads onto the Meyle brake rotor.

The front left brake pads are fitted with a brake wear sensor for this particular BMW. The technician replaced this sensor with a brand new wear sensor from Brembo.

The technician then tightened the Caliper pins and ensured that the caliper was held firmly in place.
