2013 Volkswagen Polo 1.2 Petrol Full-Service
Cartisan recently carried out a 2013 Volkswagen Polo 1.2 Petrol Service. The customer had booked his service through the Cartisan app and the service contained the following items
- 5W-40 Fully Synthetic Mitasu Engine Oil
- Oil Filter Replacement

- Brakes Cleaning
- Coolant Top Up (1 liter)
The Cartisan Service Team arrived at the customer’s location at the scheduled date and time. With the help of a hydraulic jack, the technician raised the car up and popped open the bonnet to begin with the service.

First, the air filter was removed from the air filter housing and replaced with a brand new air filter.
Next, the technician drained out the engine oil from underneath the car by unscrewing the engine oil drain nut. Once the oil was completely drained out, the technician replaced the drain nut and then proceeded to remove the oil filter from the engine block. The oil filter is replaced with a brand new one.
Once the oil filter was replaced, the technician then filled the engine block with approximately 3.5 liters of fully synthetic Mitasu engine oil.
Then, the technician removed each of the wheels in order to clean the brakes. For the front wheels, the technician opened the brake caliper cover to remove and clean the brake pads. The brake pads were cleaned with emery paper. The brake rotors were also scrubbed with the emery paper.
After the brake pads were cleaned, the technician mounted the front wheels back onto the car. The rear wheels were then removed and the technician removed the brake drum and cleaned the brake shoes and the insides of the drum with emery paper.
After the technician mounted all the wheels back onto the car, the Polo was lowered down to the ground. The coolant reservoir was topped up with fresh coolant and the Polo was then taken for a test drive to confirm the work was completed successfully.
