The Cartisan Technician pops the bonnet open and opens the brake reservoir cap. This is done in order to prevent excessive pressure build-up in the brake fluid lines while working.
The car is raised up with the help of a hydraulic jack. The front wheel’s lugs are unscrewed and the wheel is unmounted from the hub.
The Cartisan technician loosens the caliper pin and flips open the brake caliper body. The brake pads are removed from the support bracket. Brand new Brembo brake pads are placed in the support bracket and the caliper body is closed and the caliper pin is tightened.
The wheel is then mounted back onto the hub and the same process is repeated for the other front wheel.
The bonnet is closed and the car is taken for a test drive to confirm that the work is done successfully.
