Denver-based firm leverages Casetext to enhance efficiency, customer service

SAN FRANCISCO, MAY 17, 2018Casetext today announces business law firm Moye White has joined its growing roster of customers that includes leading law firms such as Quinn Emanuel, Fenwick & West, DLA Piper, Baker Donelson, Blank Rome, and Ogletree Deakins.

Moye White, a firm that offers strategic counsel to national and international companies in transactions and disputes, is leveraging Casetext’s CARA A.I. to achieve greater efficiency and to improve outcomes for clients.

“Enhancing customer service for our clients is always a top priority at Moye White, and Casetext’s use of cutting-edge technology translates into smart client services for our firm,” said Paul Franke, litigation chair at Moye White. “Our attorneys focus on critical, complex matters for our clients, and Casetext is a key tool we utilize on the path toward being as efficient as possible so we can help our clients succeed.”

The Denver-based firm chose to partner with Casetext to provide the firm’s 60-plus lawyers with a world-class legal search engine — combined with a new artificial intelligence driven technology, CARA A.I. — to surface the most relevant cases and in a fraction of the time legacy research tools can provide.

“We are excited to see Moye White and many other leading firms adopt Casetext to provide more efficient and superior representation, and to help level the playing field,” said Jake Heller, co-founder and CEO of Casetext. “Our CARA A.I. technology enables attorneys to find the best authorities, fast, and with ease — taking out a lot of the frustration, difficulty and risk involved with traditional Boolean legal research and arming lawyers with the highest quality research possible.”

The legal research company recently unveiled a new user experience that integrates traditional keyword search with the company’s CARA A.I.-powered research technology. Through Casetext’s unique CARA A.I. drag-and-drop functionality, each user’s search experience is tailored to what they are working on so that they find relevant authorities fast.

Casetext was recently recognized by CB Insights as one of the most promising artificial intelligence companies of 2018 (the only legal research company to make the list), and on the Financial Times’ list of law firms and legal service providers commended for innovation in 2017. Casetext’s CARA A.I. technology was named New Product of the Year by the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), which recognized the innovative platform for improving access to legal information and the legal research process.
