Knowing this helps me tailor articles that are likely to get accepted.

Step 2: Brainstorm Great Topics

Picking the right topic is key! Choose something creative, fresh, and something that will grab readers’ attention.

The more interesting your topic, the more likely people are to read your article.

Step 3: Publish Consistently

I aimed to publish 2–3 articles a day, keeping in mind that some publications don’t post on weekends.

Getting your work published on a Friday means it has a better chance of being seen by readers for a whole 2–3 days!

4 Easy Habits to Get Engaged

• Read Others’ Work: Show the Medium community some love by reading and commenting on other articles.
• Be Engaged: Respond to comments on your own work — it shows you care about your readers.
• Collect Claps: The more “claps” (likes) you get, the more visible your work becomes.
• Reply to Comments: Build a connection with your readers by replying to their comments!

By following these tips and focusing on quality content, you can make your first $100 on Medium and become a successful writer on the platform.
