Cassava Network, Africa’s Web3 Infrastructure, raises $8 million in funding

Fundraising at Cassava is in full swing, and we’re excited to announce that our private rounds are now closed! All up we raised $8 million from more than 40 passionate and committed investors, all of whom share our vision for an Africa empowered by blockchain.

Partners and Cassava’s mission

Cassava is a blockchain infrastructure ecosystem, featuring Web3 identification systems, user-controlled data profiles, rewards networks and an easy-to-use, all-in-one crypto and NFT wallet. This ambitious product offering would be nothing without our network of partners, investors and users.

Cassava rewards, distributed through partner apps, are our primary avenue for user acquisition. The rewards themselves, distributed as $CSV, can in turn be used throughout that very same network of partners. The more partners and the stronger their offerings, the more utility the $CSV token gains. With more utility comes more users, which ultimately results in a stronger ecosystem overall.

We’re proud of the partnerships we’ve forged so far, and we’re excited to forge many, many more. Thanks to our backers we also have links to some of the most popular apps and services in Web2 and Web3, giving Cassava incredible potential from the outset.
