Cassava V3: All You Need to Know

Hello Cassava community,

We have good news. We are excited to inform you that we have just released the V3 of our product, which includes a web app and mobile app on both android and iOS. We know you love CB Coins, and this version comes packed with many options and features that allow you to earn CB Coins and other partner rewards.

In this version of our product, we partnered with UniPass to provide you with a non-custodial and seedless multi-chain wallet that allows users to hold, buy and sell various crypto assets across multiple EVM blockchains.

In addition to checking in daily and verifying your social media and on-chain wallet to earn rewards, you can now follow your favourite communities and complete simple tasks to earn. Rewards are issued in CB Coins and any other rewards specified by partners.

Tasks include but are not limited to;

• Following project communities on social media
• Liking/ retweeting tweets
• Making link or image submissions and
• Many more.

In this article, we will take a quick look at Cassava V3 and some of the updates we’ve made to it.

1. Community

• Create and manage communities through which projects can display community profile/info, description and links to social media.
• Create a unique community URL for each community.
• Manage community tasks.
• Manage community CB Coins.
• Grow your Cassava Network following.
• Notify followers when updates are made to a project’s community.
• Access to the tasks’ participants and winners’ list.
• Add more administrators to your communities, making teamwork and collaboration easy.

• Create and manage tasks.
• Discord server verification.
• Customise target audience for tasks.
• Pick winners through FCFS (First Come, First Serve) or the lucky draw principle.
• Review all the participants and winners.
• Review all PoW submissions (URL and images) for approval, including one-by-one and batch approval.
• Launch tasks-specific referral campaigns.
• Give away CB Coins to users who complete tasks.
• Task status and details are visible to the target audience.

• Build and rebuild your avatar with CB Coins.
• Use your Avatar as a profile image.
• Share Avatar on Facebook and Twitter.

4. Wallet

• Create a UniPass wallet linked to your Cassava account automatically.

Product Tour

To access Cassava V3, users/partners must visit app.cassava.network and then proceed to sign up or log in using the ‘Login/sign up’ button at the top right. By signing up, a UniPass wallet is automatically created for you. Partners/users can use this wallet to store various on-chain assets across multiple EVM blockchains.

After logging into your account, click the profile icon at the top right to access your Cassava Profile.

You can view your Cassava id and UniPass wallet address from here. You can also use the options on the left to verify their social media accounts, manage tasks and communities, and manage your CB Coins earnings.

Verifying your on-chain wallet and social media accounts, will earn you your initial allocation of CB Coins which can then be used to build your Avatar. To do this, click the ‘Verification’ option and proceed to verify your wallet, Twitter and Discord accounts.

To view your CB Coins earnings and activities on your account, click the ‘Manage my Assets’ option on your profile page.

Tasks Centre

Since you’ve logged in and navigated your profile, let’s head to the ‘Tasks Center’. To access the tasks center, click the menu option highlighted in green above or click here. From the tasks center, you can find and complete tasks from their favourite communities and proceed to earn rewards in CB Coins and any other rewards specified by our partners.

Communities

The ‘Communities’ page displays a list of partner communities. You can head over to the Communities page to follow your favourite projects. Following a partner project grants you access to receive notifications when these projects make updates or create tasks.

Mystery Boxes

Mystery boxes can be bought using CB Coins on Cassava V3. These mystery boxes contain gifts such as more CB Coins, stablecoins, partner tokens/NFTs and many others. From the ‘Mystery Box’ option on the menu bar, you can access the mystery box page and proceed to spend your CB Coins on mystery boxes.

My Avatars

The ‘My Avatars’ page allows you to create your AfriMyth Avatar. This Avatar, which is currently off-chain, will later be moved on-chain and serve as your identity in the Cassava ecosystem. To create an Avatar, simply head to ‘My Avatars’, select your avatar base character and style it. In Cassava V3, we made an update to the avatar creation system. This update requires you to spend 250 CB Coins to build an avatar.

Web3 Made Easy

For users: With Cassava V3, we have made it easy for African users to interact with their favourite Web2 and Web3 brands. As users interact with these brands, they earn both CB Coins and other on-chain rewards specified by partners. While the CB Coins exist off-chain at the moment, users will be able to swap them for on-chain assets soon.

For Enterprises: Cassava V3 provides a channel through which partners can grow their African market by allowing users to earn rewards for completing simple tasks.
