Let’s start this debate between the two browsers

Brave

Brave is a free and open-source web browser developed by Brave Software, Inc. based on the Chromium web browser. It blocks ads and website trackers, and provides a way for users to send cryptocurrency contributions in the form of Basic Attention Tokens to websites and content creators.

Chrome

Google Chrome is a cross-platform web browser developed by Google. It is by far the most popular browser in the world. It is known by everybody in the planet.

There will be some criterions like Speed, Privacy, Extension support etc. So lets get started.

Speed

On the desktop, Brave loads pages twice as fast as Chrome and Firefox, the №1 and №3 browsers in the world as ranked by analytics vendor Net Applications. On a smartphone, Brave loads pages up to eight times faster than Chrome (Android) or Safari (iOS).

Brave browser loads websites 8 times faster than chrome in mobile.

Privacy

Brave is more private than Chrome in many ways. Brave often shows us this in their official site. Having a private window with tor hides your IP address from your ISP or employer which chrome does not have in its incognito mode.

Extension Support

Brave does not have any limitations in this field too. Since it is built up on chromium it can also work with all extensions in the chrome web store.

Ads Blocking

One of the few reasons brave loads page faster as it has its own ad blocker. It eliminates any ads in the website to make the load time faster.

Conclusion

Well it’s up to you. Brave and Chrome are pretty much the same but Brave is a little better in privacy and speed.
