Hope in Dismay

A Light Amidst the Darkness

For you who breathe, but in dismay,
Make sure to live, but in your own way.
When you are not up to the mark,
Just try staying out of the dark.
Of all you have is the hope,
And you, and only yourself, to cope.

If you have lost your way,
And there’s not a single hope ray,
All you can do is stay,
As doubt inhabits you, leaving you to pray.
Don’t let go of yourself.
