Hormonal Imbalance!
Struggle with PCOS.
Many people have suffered from hormonal imbalances when hormones just get out of whack and cannot be controlled. This happens when one hormone is too much or less than another. I'm sure everyone has gone through this or even seen someone else go through it—either a loved one or themselves. First off, there are a variety of hormonal abnormalities; these are the most common ones.
1. Diabetes.
2. Hypo- and hyperthyroidism.
3. Adrenal insufficiency.
4. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
5. Hypogonadism.
I have seen a loved one struggle with hormonal imbalance for a long period. When just periods disappear and you start asking yourself questions, you are not pregnant, nor are you taking contraceptives. That's strange, I know, but it does happen. Unusual weight gain, excessive body hair, infertility, facial acne, and even irregular periods can all be caused by hormonal imbalances. Depending on your hormone levels, your period may be heavier or lighter.
